The purpose for which this corporation is formed is exclusively for charitable, and educational purposes by aiding and assisting economically and culturally deprived citizens of the State of Louisiana by endeavoring to bridge the expanse between the economically advantaged in society and the economically disadvantaged, by educating the advantaged as to the need and importance of broadening access to educational, economic, and cultural opportunities of the less advantaged, and committing effort and resources to the needs of others, and by elevating the communities sense of the importance and the value of learning and individual worth through the Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus.
